What do you need in order to hire a van

A valid UK or EU driving licence
It’s obvious but it’s still easy to forget. The licence needs to have been valid for at least two years and if you have an EU licence or a UK paper licence rather than a photocard you’ll need to show additional photo ID.
Proof of current UK address
This doesn’t have to match your licence, it just needs to be something official like a recent utility bill, bank statement, or a letter from HMRC. It can be physical or digital and it’s best if it’s from the last three months.

We are only a 15-minute drive away. Head north on Bowness Road towards Brownhill Road/South Circular Road. Continue to follow the South Circular Road until you reach the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit onto Sidcup Road and our branch will be on the left.
By train
Walk to Hither Green and take a Southeastern train to New Eltham. This is an 11-minute walk from our branch. In total the journey should take around 42 minutes.
By bus
Take the 160 from Plassy Road to Fiveways. This is a straightforward journey that will take around 40 minutes.
Reach our New Cross branch: 2-4 Pomeroy Street, New Cross, London, SE14 5BG.
By car
Driving to us will take around 20 minutes. Head north on Bowness Road towards Brownhill Road/South Circular Road. Continue to follow the South Circular Road until you reach Ravensbourne Park. Take the following roads: Manwood Road, Brockley Road, Shardeloes Road, Jerningham Road, New Cross Road. You can then turn left onto Pomeroy Street where you’ll find our branch on the right-hand side.
By train
This area has no direct rail connection to our branch. However, you can take the Thameslink from Catford to Nunhead. This is followed by a 17-minute walk.
By bus
The 136 will take you to us in 40 minutes. Get on at The Catford Centre and travel to reach us at Pomeroy Street.
